Fantastic holiday

For the three week holiday,  I stayed with my family in Otangarei, one week was boring and the other two were fun. The first week we stayed home and played fortnite, ate food and played handball outside. For the second week we went out fishing I didn’t catch anything but I didn’t care. After that I went for a swim with my friend, at first It was cold, after a bit It wasn’t that cold anymore. My aunties and I also went for breakfast then went shopping.  Things I liked doing in holidays was going fishing with my Dad and Uncles. What did you do in the holiday?

My Interesting Culture

In Te Ngahere we have been learning a Haka called Aha Ngapuhi e  the boys have learnt it in one day.

It's fun because I get to learn about my culture and what my ancestors did in the old days when they were young, and strong like us. It was hard to remember the actions because I have never done this before. It’s  good to learn the Haka. Whaea Roni and Whaea Lisha were impressed with us they didn’t need to growl us. I did really good because I wasn’t distracted. Do you like learning about Māori culture?
